Deneen made the tunic from the pattern on the Lion web site that I've been eye-ing for a while. She shortened it into a tank top instead of a tunic. It looks fabulous.
I feel inspired. I am either going to start on this or the Abydos vest tonight...

The Abydos is my my to-do list, however I tried to cheat and didn't do the base chain and when I got to the back, it bit me in the butt-the yarn called for goes on sale Tuesday at Elann, so maybe then I'll try it.
I know what you mean. I saw the tunic, printed up the pattern, and then it sat around for a week or two before Deneen made mention of it. It was somewhere in the big to-do list I have, but once she started working on it and showed photos of it, I've been itching to make it. I've got tunic (er...tank) envy!
